For your consideration, Clara by Monika is from an early first edition, 1992 doll by Monika.
Clara is dressed in a batiste cotton gown with pin tucking, and lace details, with golden and pearl jewelry. Her blonde hair is set off with a hat, with feathers and silk netting. She sits in a wicker chair, with her to scale copy of Pride & Prejudice.
Clara is 20 inches tall with a sculpted porcelain head/breastplate, hands/lower arms and feet/lower legs on a possible wired cloth body. Barefoot, she has brown eyes, and blonde mohair with sculpted hands and bare feet.
This doll has been displayed behind glass, in a pet free, smoke free, climate controlled doll studio. Her costume has one small spot of discoloration, see picture.
