The Autolite 1100 one-barrel carburetor was introduced in 1963 and was used on the 170 engines through 1969
When the carburetor idle speed adjustment is not good, one of the adjustment methods is: Move the tail of the side of the link located at the acceleration pump position to the outside, do not keep it close to the accelerator pump diaphram position, but use pliers to pull it to the outside .In this way, during the linkage, the lever on the top of the carburetor can push the spring into the innermost, and the idle speed may return to normal
Precautions:The carburetor needs to be adjusted at least twice a year. According to the decrease and rise of the climatic temperature, the black automatic hot air coil spring needs to be relaxed and tightened, which will directly affect the opening and closing of the damper blades
