Junel Novelties Cherie of France 1930's All Cloth Doll With Original Hang Tag

Description

This is Cherie of France as her hang tag reads.  She has a cloth mask face with painted facial features. She is not jointed; she is hard stuffed.  Her paint is in very good condition.  She has black wool yarn hair, sculpting her face. The wig does not extend past the outline of her face.  Her body and clothes do show surface, age stain; there are no tears. She is all original.  The owner wrote, on a tag, "Doll sent Christmas 1939 to Pasadena Cal."  This doll measures 15".
She needs a stand or can sit against a backdrop.
