Hello, here is a very rare well defined and 100% natural Black Prolylleceras sp. Ammonite fossil from Peru, South America.
It has very fine definition with a black color and dates to the Cretaceous Era a Crazy! 66 to 145 Million years ago.
The overall piece or matrix measures around 4.22cm or 1 11/16" at its biggest. Please note that this fossil has no restoration...just split out of its host matrix with a hammer.
